Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) is a professional engineering course that focuses on th maintenance and upkeep of aircrafts. It is a three-year course that is usually offered at various Colleges/Institutes approved by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Government of India.The Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) course is a program designed to train individuals to become certified aircraft maintenance engineers. The course typically consists of both theoretical and practical training, covering topics such as aircraft systems, maintenance procedures, and regulations. The course is usually 2400 hours in length, and upon completion, graduates will have the skills and knowledge to pass the DGCA (Directorate General of Civil Aviation), Govt of India licensing exam and become certified AMEs.
